Online banking will be down soon, but only for a short period — take action now

Arsenal’s core data processing system upgrade is less than one week away. To ensure you are prepared for this inevitable event, it is important to note the limitations and stipulations regarding your online banking account(s).

From the close of business (6 p.m.) on Friday, July 31, through the end of Monday, Aug. 3, you will not be able to access your accounts via computer, tablet or smartphone and view your account balances or transaction history, make account transfers, schedule new bill payments, etc. After online banking is restored, you will not have to re-enroll for the service.

Since previous transaction history (July 31 and earlier) will not be accessible after the system upgrade is completed, we recommend that you digitally download or print your transaction history as needed. Please note that you will still be able to access prior months’ account statements up to 12 months, assuming that you have been receiving eStatements (rather than paper statements) that long. Also keep in mind that checks you’ve written that have been cleared prior to the upgrade will not be available for online viewing. All account transaction history and checks cleared from Aug. 4 forward will be available in online banking.

Once the upgrade is complete, you will not need to re-establish your bill payments or re-enroll in eStatements, if you have previously done so. You will, however, need to re-register for any related online services you may have been using, such asPopmoney, electronic funds transfers, scheduled reoccurring transfers, and/or email & text alerts/notifications, for all applicable account(s).

Besides online banking being unavailable during this brief period, all Arsenal Credit Union branches, including our call center, will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 3.

Account access via shared branches will also be unavailable throughout the system upgrade. On Tuesday, Aug. 4, the aforementioned will be reinstated for business as usual.

During the upgrade weekend, please keep an eye on your incoming email, and check frequently for the latest updates on the core system upgrade. If you follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, or are included in our Google+ circle, we will also be posting updates on these social media channels.
