April is National Credit Union Youth Month

What kind of saver is your child? One who saves happily, or with a scowl? To find out, stop by an Arsenal branch during National Credit Union Youth Month.

Every saver is unique, but most people who save regularly developed the habit early in life. Learning to delay gratification in order to save for long-term goals is a crucial life skill, and one we are committed to helping our youngest members develop.

By helping your child give a hoot about saving now, you’ll help them soar when they’re older.

Tracker Kids Club

If your child does not have a savings account, now is the perfect time to open a Tracker Kids Club account. Parents and grandparents can open an account for kids age 12 and under to have fun while learning about money.

National Youth Savings Challenge

The National Youth Saving Challenge is FREE and open to all youth age 18 and under who visit an Arsenal branch during April. While youth are encouraged to make a deposit at the credit union, no deposit is required to enter. Parents/guardians giving permission for their youth to enter can submit their child’s name, current age and date on a 3-by-5-inch piece of paper and drop it off at a branch.

In May, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) will randomly select and give a $1,000 grand prize to a participating credit union. That credit union will then randomly select a winner from its entrants. We will notify you if you are a winner.

Limit one entry per person. Odds of winning depend on number of entrants. This contest is void where prohibited.
