Learn ‘The Science of Saving’ during National Credit Union Youth Month

Every child dreams about the future. Some of those dreams may require money to come true. How do you help your children achieve their dreams?

One way is to help them learn how to save their money.

In April, Arsenal is celebrating Youth Month to help teach and encourage kids to develop good financial habits. Every member under the age of 18 who makes a deposit during the month of April receives an entry into the National Youth Savings Challenge!

The theme this year is “The Science of Saving,” showcasing fun, sci-fi-inspired characters. Science has proven that if you start with small goals, saving your money can become a regular habit. This year’s Youth Month inspires children to begin saving the money they earn so they can attain their dreams of a happy future.

National Youth Savings Challenge

The National Youth Saving Challenge is FREE and open to all youth age 18 and under who visit an Arsenal branch during April. While youth are encouraged to make a deposit at the credit union, no deposit is required to enter. Parents/guardians giving permission for their youth to enter can submit their child’s name, current age and date on a 3-by-5-inch piece of paper and drop it off at a branch.

In May, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) will randomly select and give a $1,000 grand prize to a participating credit union. That credit union will then randomly select a winner from its entrants. We will notify you if you are a winner.

Limit one entry per person. Odds of winning depend on number of entrants. This contest is void where prohibited.

Deposits federally insured by NCUA.
